A Peru native, Matt returns to his hometown with more than a decade of legal experience, including a strong background in complex litigation involving medical, healthcare, business, probate, trust, and estate matters.
At Dobbs Legal Group, Matt is making a significant shift in his practice. After spending the first decade of his career handling intricate litigation, he has joined Polly Dobbs and Emma Wischmeier to focus on transactional law, strategic planning, federal gift and estate tax planning, and the ins and outs of the Internal Revenue Code.
Matt will support the firm’s work in estate planning, business planning, and farm succession matters, bringing valuable perspective, careful analysis, and a deep commitment to serving families and businesses in the community he has always called home.
